A child died of measles in Armenia, Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan announced this in a conversation with journalists at the National Assembly.
“We had a case of the death of a child, but the child also had other diseases, the circumstance of measles led to a severe outcome,” he said.
According to the minister, effective steps should be taken, all stages of vaccination should be completed in due time.
“I urge them to get the vaccinations that protect our children on time. If a child gets infected in the house and there is an adult in the house, then measles is also dangerous for their lives,” emphasized Avanesyan.
