Uproar at the Fame Fighting press conference!
At the press conference for Fame Fighting (November 4th), a martial arts event organized by Eugen Lopez and BILD, tempers boiled over. The opponents Gigi Birofio (24) and Can Kaplan (23) were so verbally at each other’s throats that Can later left the hall – and his girlfriend Valentina Doronina (23) with him.
It all started with the following question: “For you, the fight is a personal matter, how important is the victory?” asked the moderators of the press conference, Eugen Lopez (founder) and Valentina Maceri (BILD presenter).

▶︎ As a reminder: The opponents were recently seen in the “Sommerhaus der Stars”. There was a scandal! Valentina and Can claimed: Gigi hit Valentina. The police investigated. Gigi and his partner Dana Feist (27) were thrown out of the summer house.
Gigi repeatedly protested his innocence. And the matter wasn’t over yet at this press conference!
Gigi: „Shut the fuck up!“
Gigi: “There is no losing, there is only winning”. And what does Can say? He: “I won’t feel sorry for him.” Gigi then shouts: “Shut the fuck up!” (German: “Hold your ma**l”).
What further heated up tempers: Can asked Gigi to fight for 5 rounds instead of 3 rounds (3 minutes each). Gigi had prepared for 3 rounds in training – so he clearly rejected that! He thinks Can is bluffing, distracting, making big noises.
Gigi complains: “I don’t know if I have to talk to you in human language or dog language.” When Can wants to say something: “You donkey face, be quiet!”

Can wants the main fight, Gigi wants to fight now
Lopez was even willing to give the main fight to Gigi and Can, provided that they fight 5 rounds (the main fight is still Alex Petrovic against Diogo Sangre). Both sides would have to agree on the 5 rounds.
During the contract negotiations at the time, Can Gigi met his demands for the fight. To fight in the 80 kilo class.
Can now demands that Gigi also take a step towards him – namely to fight the five rounds. For Gigi it’s all just excuses. Main fight, first fight – he doesn’t care about anything. “As far as I’m concerned, we can fight now,” Gigi hisses.

Then it gets confusing! Valentina sits in the audience, who also loudly defends herself against Gigi’s constant verbal attacks against her boyfriend. Gigi’s hat goes up: “I’m coming to your house!”
Can then stands up. “You’re not threatening Valentina!” the reality star clarifies. He and Valentina then leave the hall!
BILD presenter Maceri even has to talk sense into the heated Gigi in Italian.

Dog Food Tip vs. Can
Then the night kick against the absent Can! Gigi suddenly gets up with a bag of dog food and a food bowl – and places it in Can’s empty space!

In an Instagram story after the incident, Valentina said: “I’m speechless.” Can can also be seen in the video. He: “A red line has been crossed.” He meant the threat against his girlfriend.
Valentina: “We will have to cancel this event.” And: “Fame Fighting will take place without Can.”
Valentina to Gigi: “I’m not going to sit there and let myself be insulted!” But can they just throw it away like that? Is it all just a bluff? Is it all just PR?
During the press conference, Valentina and Can say: We’re giving up!

Can Can get out of Fame Fighting that easily?
Towards the end of the event, Gigi followed up again: “Don’t worry, Can will come. And if he doesn’t come, we’ll pick him up.”
Organizer Lopez was clear about the Valentina Can cancellation: “You can’t cancel the fight at will. We’re not a circus club.”
