German Foreign Minister Baerbock on a difficult mission in Moscow – Europe

In any case, Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has fulfilled one request of his German colleague: At the beginning of the negotiations, Annalena Baerbock had expressed the wish “to talk calmly and with sufficient time about issues where we can strengthen our cooperation, but also issues that put a strain on our friendship these days”. And so, instead of an hour as planned, the two only appeared in front of the cameras after a good two and a half hours to announce the results of their first round of negotiations.
