The Head of State meets with the President of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea

Malabo – October 25, 2023 – After the working and friendship visit he made this Wednesday to the Democratic Republic of Sao Tome and Principe, the President of the Republic arrived this late afternoon in Malabo in the Republic from Equatorial Guinea.
Received at the Colina Residence, the Head of State, General Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguéma, had a tête-à-tête with His counterpart, HE Théodoro Obiang Nguéma, President of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea.
The progress linked to the transition process initiated in Gabon, the bilateral and multi-sector cooperation which links Libreville and Malabo as well as sub-regional and continental news constituted the bulk of the exchanges.
Note that this 8th visit by the Gabonese number one to his peers in the ECCAS zone is part of an exchange tour, initiated the day after his swearing-in. It participates in the relaunch of cooperation with its partners and the strengthening of diplomatic ties after the sanctions imposed on our country by sub-regional and continental bodies such as ECCAS and the AU following the event of August 30, 2023.
