Improvement of the road network: The Head of State discusses with the CEO of the Gauff Engineering company

Libreville, November 7, 2023 – The President of the Transition, President of the Republic, Head of State, General Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema today received in audience Mr. Uwe Gauff, Chairman and CEO of the Gauff Engineering Company.
The meeting with the Head of State was an opportunity for the CEO of the German firm to make to the President of the Republic proposals for new development projects and financial support intended for the equipment of the Works authorities Public.
The design office intends to use its know-how in the management of road projects and those linked to water supply, with the collaboration of military engineering.
As a reminder, the Gauff Engineering company is a German consortium present in Gabon since 1965 and carries out structuring works. The said company has contributed in the past to water supply works in the Municipality of Owendo and participated, among other things, in a series of control missions, in the field of asphalting of roads and other similar works.
For the Head of State, improving the road network in Gabon is an emergency, because a passable and good quality road allows the mobility of populations and the economic development of the country.
