Schools and universities spent 4 times more on Russian laptops this year

Government purchases of laptops from Russian brands by schools and universities in the first three quarters of 2023 increased 4 times compared to the same period last year, amounting to 24.4 million rubles, according to data from the Tenderplan search and analytical system for managing tenders.

Over the nine months of 2023, educational institutions concluded and completed 109 tenders for the purchase of laptops from Russian brands Predator, Aquarius, iRU, Rikor, Kraftway, Irbis and Graviton. For the same period a year earlier – 28 tenders (worth 5.9 million rubles).
