Over the last thirty years, earthquakes and the tsunamis they generate have caused the death of a million people around the world, mainly in the countries of the South.
And if prevention and warning systems have been put in place, they unfortunately only offer a few seconds of anticipation, the alert only being triggered once the earthquake has started… How can we do better? Are there invisible, tiny signals that could predict the imminent occurrence of a major earthquake?
