The Israeli armed forces announced today that they are coordinating the transfer of incubators to the Gaza Strip to possibly allow the removal of newborns from the largest hospital in the Palestinian enclave.
The relevant post was made on social media along with a video of a member of the Israeli army loading incubators into a van.
The announcement came after desperate calls from Al Shifa Hospital for sick newborns as Israeli ground forces close in and fuel for generators runs out.

Dramatic warnings from Al Shifa
Doctors and aid groups in Gaza hospitals have warned that premature babies are at “serious risk” as the Israeli blockade is expected to run out of fuel for the generators powering their incubators within days or hours.
The director of Al-Aqsa Hospital in the central Gaza Strip, Iyad Abu Zahar, told the Associated Press news agency that “The responsibility we have is enormous.”
At least seven of the nearly 30 hospitals were forced to close due to damage from relentless Israeli strikes and a lack of electricity, water and other supplies, the news agency reported.
???? URGENT UPDATE: Doctors in #Gaza have issued an urgent warning that the lives of 130 premature babies are in imminent danger if fuel does not reach hospitals soon.
