The Iraqi pro-Iran militia Kataib Hezbollah has attacked the US military base in Tel Baidar, in northeastern Syria, using drones.
Lebanese television Al Mayadin, affiliated with the Lebanese party-militia Hezbollah, has reported this attack and has stated that a US soldier has been injured.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has confirmed the attack “with an Iranian drone” against Tel Baidar and has highlighted that US anti-aircraft batteries have shot down two drones.
In the last few hours, pro-Iran militias have also attacked the US base in Harir, in northern Iraq, and Ain al Assad, in western Iraq. However, US forces have not yet confirmed these attacks.
Last Friday, a military spokesman for the US forces reported 61 attacks against US facilities in Iraq and Syria since October 17 in statements to Al Mayadin.
