The divisions specialized in companies and institutions have approved operations worth more than 1,017 million euros. 55% of this amount has been dedicated to operations referenced to sustainability variables, since certain financing conditions are linked to the evolution and achievement of environmental or social objectives.
In this way, Kutxabank, in addition to “contributing to the strengthening of the financial structure of large companies”, supports their transition towards a low carbon economy and towards a sustainable business model, thanks to the incorporation of ESG criteria in financing.
In its Retail Banking strategy, Kutxabank has continued to reinforce its commitment to marketing products to finance the purchase of homes, carry out home renovations, or acquire eco-efficient vehicles and appliances.
A significant part of this sustainable financing has been allocated to facilitate the purchase of energy-efficient homes by the Bank’s individual clients, through the so-called Green Mortgage. A total of 765 million euros have been allocated to these loans, which implies a growth of 7% compared to 2022.
