A Mariinsky soloist was injured during the performance of “Swan Lake”

The first soloist of the Mariinsky Theater, Maria Khoreva, was injured during the performance of the ballet Swan Lake.

As the Mariinsky press service noted, the theater staff hopes for a quick recovery of the leading ballerina and wishes her a speedy recovery.

Khoreva has been working with the troupe since 2018 after graduating from the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet. She is involved in more than 10 performances, including the most famous productions – “Giselle”, “Sleeping Beauty”, “The Nutcracker”, etc.
