Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan addressed the issue of teacher certification, particularly the issue of meeting teachers who did not register a 15% increase.
“We want teachers’ salaries to be more than doubled. 3 years ago, could it be doubled, it could not, there was no such option, now we have created a way for it and we are asking our dear teachers to walk, cross that road and take your salary,” he said.
According to Pashinyan, they are not creating an obstacle to make it difficult for teachers to get a high salary. Children’s interests are important, so that the teacher who enters the classroom meets the standards.
Nikol Pashinyan informed that they have given teachers a new opportunity. “We said that if you pass the certification threshold next time and do not overcome the minimum 60 percent, but you improved compared to the previous one and did not pass again, we will extend the opportunity, because we see that you are working. If we are unprincipled in the case of children, we condemn these children to poverty,” he said.
