Burkina: More than 400 terrorists decimated in Djibo (provisional report)
Ouagadougou, Nov. 27, 2023 (AIB) – A provisional report shows more than 400 terrorists decimated on Sunday during a counter-offensive by the Burkinabè Armed Forces against nearly 3,000 criminals who tried to seize the city of Djibo, in the north of the country, according to security sources at the AIB.
A column of nearly 3,000 terrorists launched massive attacks on the town of Djibo on Sunday evening.
For several hours, the Combatant Forces demonstrated fierce resistance against the enemy.
The fighting was particularly violent at the local military camp.
The combined action of ground troops and air vectors made it possible to inflict a crushing defeat on the criminals.
A provisional report reports more than 400 terrorists killed or burned.
This count only takes into account the remains found around the camp and the town.
The number of attackers killed in their flight through the bush and the tracks is being compiled.
On the General Staff side, we are already pleased with this feat achieved by the valiant Combatant Forces.
