The President of the Transition receives the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Japan

Libreville, November 27, 2023 – The President of the Transition, President of the Republic, Head of State, His Excellency General Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema received today in audience HE Shuji Noguchi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the The Republic of Gabon.
The Japanese diplomat came to submit to the Head of State Japan’s technical support in the areas of infrastructure and economic development of Gabon during this Transition.
As part of the bilateral cooperation that unites Gabon and Japan, HE Shuji Noguchi reiterated to the President of the Republic his country’s desire to strengthen ties of friendship and cooperation.
The President of the Transition welcomed the initiative of this friendly country and reassured his interlocutor of the government’s availability to begin discussions in order to define all the conditionalities and practical modalities of the various projects.
As a reminder, this visit to the Renovation Palace of His Excellency Shuji Noguchi comes after the one he made on November 22, a visit during which the diplomat presented his courtesies to the Gabonese number one and reaffirmed Japan’s fundamental position vis-à-vis towards the CTRI.
