In India, 2.35 lakh new cases of corona have been confirmed in the last 24 hours. It is worth noting that this is 6% less than yesterday. The daily positivity rate has dropped from 15.88% to 13.39%. (Positive rate is the ratio of how many people are confirmed to infected in 100) .The number of corona vaccinators in India is 165 crore.

Nationwide, 95% of those eligible for the vaccine received their first installment. 74% are reported to have been fully vaccinated with the two-dose vaccine. Across the country, 4,92,198 people have died from corona. In the last 24 hours alone, 871 people have been killed.

Union Health Minister Mansuk Mandavia today held a video conference with the health ministers of Bihar, Odisha, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Chhattisgarh. There have been 103 deaths in the last 24 hours. Yesterday alone, 24,948 people were confirmed infected.

As well as the corona infection in Delhi continues to decline. Only 4,044 people have been confirmed infected there in the last 24 hours. The positivity rate is 8.60%. The Omigron Corona virus is most prevalent in the southern states of Karnataka, where 67.5% of the samples tested are the Omicron virus.

The number of infections in Kerala continues to rise. As of Friday, there were 54,537 new cases of the disease in the country. In Mizoram, 2,064 people have been newly diagnosed with the disease. Worldwide, an average of 20 million people are infected every day. So far 54 lakh people have lost their lives.

Infection has decreased for the 6th consecutive day in Tamil Nadu. In Tamil Nadu, 26,533 people were diagnosed with corona infection yesterday. The total number of corona victims so far in Tamil Nadu is 32,79,284. A total of 7,20,974 people have been affected in Chennai alone so far. The number of people who have recovered from the disease so far in Tamil Nadu is 30,29,961.
