The inter-regional tournament among football players born in 2007 has ended in Tambov. It was attended by 16 teams from different cities of Russia.
For six days they determined the winner. As a result, the Tambov Football Academy and the Samara Wings of the Soviets met in the final. The Tambov team reached the final without losing a single point and not conceding a single ball during the tournament.
However, in the final, it was they who missed the first in the second half of the match. “Academicians” were close to defeat, but managed to win back a minute before the final whistle. The winner of the tournament was determined in a penalty shootout, where the Tambov team turned out to be more accurate – 3:1.
Thus, the Football Academy won the tournament for the fourth year in a row. Also, Leonid Klimenko from Tambov was recognized as the best forward of the tournament.
