Vietnamese Cargo Ship Employee Falls Into Sea at Paradip Port: Drug Seizure Case

Paradip: The employee of a Vietnamese cargo ship, who was in custody in the case of seizure of cocaine worth Rs 220 crore at Paradip port in Odisha, fell into the sea. The incident happened around 3 am on Sunday morning.

The police said that it is not clear whether he fell accidentally or tried to commit suicide or escape. The employee was admitted to a private hospital in Bhubaneswar with injuries on his face and hand. On December 1, a ship carrying 22 kg of cocaine worth Rs 220 crore was seized in Odisha.
