At the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Rogozin noted that the Russian cosmonauts at first also had several experiments, “these are essentially civilian, not related to the use of weapons, but nevertheless the customer, including the Ministry of Defense, acted.”
According to him, the cosmonauts were engaged in observing certain areas of the Earth. Rogozin recalled that the ISS program never forbade it. Moreover, if the station is international, then “you spy on each other.” “Therefore, you are limited in the freedom to conduct some kind of experiments,” Rogozin said.
