Fai Skordas is experiencing difficult times after the loss of her father, Dimitris Skordas, who passed away in the early hours of Monday, January 29.
Dimitris Skordas breathed his last, according to information, after a heart attack suffered in his sleep.
He himself was a radiologist and lived in Kilkis until the end of his life.
Dimitris Skordas had not made many appearances in public, apart from those with his daughter and grandchildren, when he was met by the photographers’ lens.

He was the man who accompanied the presenter to her wedding with Giorgos Liagas and as she had mentioned, she had a weakness for him. That is why she chose to give his name to one of her two sons.
Fai Skordas avoids making general references to the people of her family, however, she had made some communications with her father on social media, writing how much she loves him.
When she was invited to the ERT program “Mama-des”, shortly before her father died, Fai Skorda said about the relationship with her family: “I grew up in Kilkis very nicely, with a lot of love and a big family, with my parents, brother, uncles, grandmother and grandfather. The first person I will make an important decision is my mom but because she gets stressed I take her out of the way».

The heart attack suffered by Dimitris Skordas in 2016
Years ago, in 2016, Dimitris Skordas had another adventure with his heart, while he was in Porto Heli, from where the show “Pro1no” was broadcast, co-presented by Fai Skordas with Giorgos Liagas.
After feeling unwell, Dimitris Skordas was taken by helicopter to the Athens Medical Center. The heart attack he suffered was minor and the doctors assured his family that he was not in any danger.
After the leak of the news, TV people sympathized with Fai Skordas, through their broadcasts. Katerina Kainourgiou said: “We read through the sites and confirmed it, that the father of Fai Skordas passed away, in his sleep the man was young, I had seen him a while ago with Fai and his wife. Condolences, strength and courage to his wife and Faye and also to her brother. I imagine, she will go to Kilkis to be with her family».
