The operator of the Cochabamba metropolitan train Mi Tren reminds drivers that the circulation of pedestrians, public and private vehicles, on the railway platform is prohibited through a statement issued yesterday by the General Executive Directorate.
“The movement of pedestrians, vehicles on the railway track constitutes a violation of traffic regulations and may lead to legal sanctions,” the notification says.
In addition, it announces periodic controls on the train route.
The purpose is to avoid traffic accidents and penalties for motorcycle and vehicle drivers.

Some users of the electric train complained about the sale of tickets, because they must buy twice to complete the entire route.
“They should enable the purchase of several trips in one, it is a waste of time waiting in line every day, especially when you have to take two trains,” said a user Silvia C., on the Mi Tren networks.
