The strategic document clearly defined the future of the cooperation of the states of the Union in the most important modern directions.
The Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) clearly defined the cooperation strategy of the member states of the union until 2045. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Pankin stated in an interview with TASS.
The diplomat said that this strategic document, the declaration on the further development of economic processes within the EAEU until 2030 and until 2045, clearly defined the future of the cooperation of the states of the Union in the most important modern directions. At the same time, Pankin particularly noted the importance of the work to counter the challenges faced by the EAEU countries.
“It is safe to say that in 2023 EAEU will be talked about in all the continents of the world. I think that this would not be possible without the coordinated work of the “five” and the Eurasian Economic Commission in general, as well as the team of Russian departments and our ministry, Russian foreign institutions,” he said, summarizing the results of Russia’s presidency in EAEU.
Pankin also emphasized that EAEU is interested in establishing a close dialogue with BRICS in various fields. He expressed confidence that Russia’s presidency of the CIS and BRICS in 2024 will contribute to the strengthening of the cooperation of these associations with the EAEU.
EAEU is an international economic integration organization, which includes Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. Cuba, Moldova and Uzbekistan have observer status.
