An extraordinary session of the Management Board of the Food Safety Inspection Authority was held at the Ministry of Economy of the RA, which was chaired by the Chairman of the Board, Vahan Kerobyan.
At the session, the head of the SATM, Armen Hayrapetyan, presented the annual report of the inspection body for 2023.
It was reported in 2022 and 2023. regarding the cases of intestinal infectious diseases and poisonings caused by the food factor recorded during the period, as well as the measures taken, results and conclusions.
Among the topics on the agenda were the process of organization of slaughterhouse fur, existing problems and future tasks.
Questions related to the development and implementation of procedures based on the principles of hazard analysis and critical control points system (НАССР) by the producer/preparer during the implementation of food production/preparation processes were discussed.
The issue of importing frozen chicken meat from Georgia and animal products from European countries was also included in the agenda.
