“Cilicia” beer is created by keeping the traditions of Armenian brewing.

The quality of beer produced at the 70-year-old Yerevan brewery depends on raw materials and technology. almost everything is automated in the production equipped with modern equipment. The company’s laboratory also controls the production. before going on sale, the beer passes all checks.

The production partner is Akba Leasing, with whose support the factory was equipped with European equipment, from beer aging containers to refrigeration equipment and automatic production lines. The brewery, occupying more than 50 percent of the market, was able to increase production volumes with new equipment.

“”Cilicia” beer is prepared using classical technology. We preserve the classical brewing technology and Armenian traditions. Why do we use barley to make “Cilicia” beer? For barley has chaff, which wheat has not; that sawdust is a filtration surface,” says Arayik Ghazaryan, head of production of “Kilikia” brewery, chief technologist.

“In order not to lag behind the market, we renew and update the equipment and have quality products. As a result of cooperation with Akba Leasing, we acquired a Czech bottling machine, which has a productivity of 15,000 bottles per hour. This equipment mainly works on exported products. The barrel washing device was also purchased in cooperation with Akba Leasing, which is a great help in terms of time and quality,” says Hayk Torosyan, Chief Engineer of Kilikia Brewery.

“Cilicia” beer is exported to Europe, USA, Russia and is competitive in the world market.
