On 168 TV’s “Pressing” program, Ishkhan Saghatelyan, a member of the Supreme Body of the ARF, a member of the opposition “Armenia” faction of the National Assembly, referring to the format of their struggle, noted that if the opposition keeps its main directions, it works with the people, but at the same time includes the citizens. other issues of concern, it should be understood as an extension of the struggle.
“But if the opposition leaves its main goal and cooperates with them, it will become Nikol,” he said.
According to Ishkhan Saghatelyan, the field is very wide, they are obliged to work in all directions, to answer all the questions that concern the society, to show that the country is ruled by an evil government.
“The government oppresses businessmen, creates unfavorable tax conditions for them, should we talk about this issue from the NA podium or not?” Saghatelyan said.
He also stated that the authorities are asking him to take over the positions reserved for the opposition in the parliament.
“They are begging us to return and take over all the positions that are reserved for the opposition, because they are already being harassed from outside. In order to solve this problem, the government asks us to return and assume these positions. Our answer is definitely “no”.
There are also passive MPs in the faction, and that is very natural. Not everyone has the same knowledge and skills. But I want to understand what is the problem that our MPs go to the Parliament and raise questions”, said the opposition MP.
Ishkhan Saghatelyan also addressed the accusations of removing the government and failing to change the government.
“Um, but you shouldn’t ask me the question ‘what did you do?’ We came out, we fought, we didn’t write a status alone like others… In the last 3 years, the opposition has come up with 3 initiatives: movement to save the Motherland, elections, resistance movement. We had lapses, we failed, but we were honest and sincere in our struggle.
Those who took responsibility for the struggle have become wrong today, and those who could have helped, but did not, have become right?
They use the thesis “he took the loudspeaker, he didn’t give it back” against me, but no one took responsibility for taking that loudspeaker. I was not afraid, I took it. Saghatelyan also noted that they are ready to “give up their place for the opposition leadership”.

Ishkhan Saghtelyan also stated that action is needed on the street, but in his own time.
