“The other day, I hosted the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Armenia, Mehdi Sobhani.
Welcoming the newly appointed ambassador on his assumption of office, I emphasized the need for the development of Armenian-Iranian bilateral relations, especially between the customs and tax authorities of the two countries.
Ambassador Mehdi Sobhani emphasized the contribution of the effective work of the customs service in the context of the increase in trade between the two countries.
We referred to the issues of road tolls, international transportation of goods using the IMP booklet, as well as the need for electronic data exchange and the works being carried out in that direction.
At the end of the meeting, both sides expressed their willingness to achieve satisfactory results in all available directions,” the note said.
