China pays attention to the “Crossroads of Peace” project presented by the Armenian government and is ready to support any initiative that will contribute to the peace and development of the region.

The Government of the Republic of Armenia presented the “Crossroads of Peace” project, which aims to connect the Persian Gulf, the Gulf of Oman, the Black, Caspian and Mediterranean seas with a regional unified railway network and North-South and East-West roads.
According to this project, Armenia aims to develop communications between Armenia, Turkey, Azerbaijan, and the Islamic Republic of Iran by repairing, building, and operating roads, railways, pipelines, cables, and power lines.
The Armenian government is ready to provide communication between Azerbaijan and Turkey through the restoration of 4 railway sections in the territory of the Republic of Armenia. Armenia is also ready to restore the destroyed sections of the railway from Gyumri to the Turkish border and the destroyed sections of the railway from Hrazdan to Kayan, which will create new connections between all the countries of the region.
