The President of the Republic of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan, today approved the Government’s decision N 543 on setting restrictions on the provision of public food services due to the need for economical use of food products caused by the complete blockade of the Republic of Artsakh by Azerbaijan from June 15, 2023.

According to the decision of the Government of the Republic of Artsakh:

1. From 09:00 on July 5, 2023, it is prohibited in public food facilities:

1) Organization and holding of festive, family or other private dinners (except for wedding dinners to be held with the participation of up to 50 people);

2) organizing and conducting funeral ceremonies with the participation of more than 30 people;

3) Preparation and sale of food products in the form of serving and delivery (consumption of culinary products), except for the serving of coffee, tea, beverages, ice cream, flour and sugar confectionery.

2. The provisions of Clause 1 of these restrictions also apply to cases of provision of public catering services by public caterers outside public catering facilities (at a place chosen by the consumer).

3. Event halls, restaurants, canteens, cafes, bars, buffets, as well as public catering facilities attached to hotels, tourist houses are considered public catering facilities.
