/ The Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on Tuesday evening, strongly condemned what it described as the “unjustified violation” of Iranian missile and drone bombing inside its territory.

The Foreign Ministry statement, which was seen by Agency, said: “Pakistan strongly condemns the unjustified violation of its airspace by Iran, and the strike that occurred inside Pakistani territory, which resulted in the death of two innocent children and the injury of three girls,” stressing that “this violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty is unjustified.” “It is completely unacceptable, and it can have serious consequences.”

“What is most disturbing is that this illegal act occurred despite the existence of several channels of communication between Pakistan and Iran, and Pakistan’s strong protest has already been submitted to the relevant senior official in the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tehran,” she said.

The Pakistani Foreign Ministry added that it had summoned the Iranian Chargé d’Affaires to the ministry, to convey Pakistan’s strong condemnation of this blatant violation of the country’s sovereignty, and that responsibility for the consequences will fall directly on Iran.

The Foreign Ministry continued in its statement: “Pakistan has always said that terrorism represents a common threat to all countries in the region and requires coordinated action, and that such unilateral actions are not consistent with good-neighborly relations, and can seriously undermine bilateral trust.”

Earlier today, Iranian media announced that Iranian forces launched missile and drone attacks on sites in Pakistan, which they said targeted bases of the Baloch opposition group (Jaish al-Adl).

The “Army of Justice” is an opposition group that says it seeks the independence of Sistan and Baluchestan Province, and demands more rights for the “Baluchi people” who represent the main ethnic group in the province.
