Quim Barreiros spoke with Cláudio Ramos and Cristina Ferreira and explained that it’s nothing about technology, much less social media.
“I’m going to be 77 years old and I don’t know how to turn on a computer, I’ve never picked up a computer, cell phones are just for answering calls. Sometimes they send me things and I have to ask someone for help”, highlighted the popular Portuguese artist.
“Because I don’t want to. Everyone has my phone number and everyone sends me messages, men from my time, younger men, dirty messages, pornography… If I were to see all that, I would lose my time to watch that”, he then explained on ‘Dois à 10’, on TVI.
“Even for shows, I’m tired of warning managers not to send me messages, call me”, he concluded.
During his trip to TVI’s morning program, Quim Barreiros spoke about the women in his life, starting with his mother, who died when he was 16 years old. “I inherited everything good I have from my mother. I’m a sweet, sensitive person…”, he highlighted. He also spoke about the mother of his children and his granddaughter, who is now 13 years old.
Before going on to perform, where he sang the new song ‘Uma Mulher de 40’, Quim Barreiros left a message for all women to mark International Women’s Day, which is celebrated this Friday, March 8th.
“I want to send all women a kiss and trust in Portugal. We men without you are nothing. Thank you very much”, he said.
