“First of all, we drew attention to international copper prices. This factor is very important from the point of view of indicators of economic growth and economic activity in Armenia. For three years, the prices are predicted to decrease. if the price of copper in 2021 was 9 thousand 317 dollars, then for this year it is predicted that it will be in the range of 8 thousand 900 and for the next year it will be at a level no higher than 8 thousand dollars. A certain decrease is also planned in the direction of international oil prices, for next year it will be around 90 dollars, the international price of molybdenum is assumed to remain at the same level for next year, Khachatryan noted.

According to the International Monetary Fund, prices in the international food market will be about 14.2 percent.

“The good news is that a certain decrease in prices is assumed for the coming year. “For 2023, it is predicted that food prices will be 5.8 percent lower than this year,” said the Minister of Finance.
