“Armenian-Russian cooperation. the ninth Armenian-Russian interregional conference entitled “new challenges and opportunities”.

During the conference, the deputy prime ministers of both countries made speeches.

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan and the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin sent messages in connection with the organization of the conference.

“The interregional cooperation between Armenia and Russia has an important role in the development of alliance strategic partnership between our countries, contributing to the further expansion of the potential of bilateral cooperation,” RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan emphasized in his message.

“Traditionally, interregional cooperation is an essential component of Armenian-Russian relations. Subjects of the Russian Federation and regions of Armenia actively cooperate in economic, social, scientific, humanitarian and other fields, successfully implement joint major projects and initiatives,” said the message of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

At the end of the conference, RA Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Vache Terteryan and Russian Federation Deputy Minister of Economic Development Dmitry Volvach signed an action plan for the implementation of the 2022-2027 interregional cooperation program between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Government of the Russian Federation.

After the session, thematic discussions on “Cooperation between Armenia and Russia in digital format”, “Development of tourist potential”, “Humanitarian cooperation between regions of Armenia and RF regions” and “Logistics, finances and investments in modern conditions” continued in the round table format.
