The SRC of the Republic of Armenia has announced that it has discovered a case of the organization of remote cargo transportation without state registration.
“The SRC Investigation and Operational Intelligence Department of the Republic of Armenia received operational information that a group of people in one of the apartments on Pushkini Street in Yerevan is carrying out cargo transportation activities remotely in the domestic market of another country without state registration.
In order to realize the mentioned data, the employees of Yerevan Department of Investigation and Operational Intelligence Department No. 11 undertook operational-investigative measures in order to clarify the circumstances of engaging in illegal business activities in the given apartment.
As part of the measures, the address of the illegal enterprise was investigated, it was found that the said apartment consists of 3 rooms and in the 50 square meter room there were tables and chairs, 20 computer sets with 40 monitors, telephones, some of which were used by the employees.
As a result of the implemented actions, it was found that all computers were connected to the “Rostelecom” network and are in working condition.
Some of the employees tried to take the computers out of the apartment, but they were stopped by the operators and the scene was immediately secured.
For illegal business activity, criminal proceedings were initiated in the committee’s investigation department under Article 281 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia, within the framework of which the employees of the SRC Investigation and Operational Intelligence and Investigation Department searched and confiscated the evidence important for the circumstances of the case, including all computers.
Currently, a preliminary investigation is being carried out, and the investigation is continuing in order to find out the whole circle of organizers of illegal activities, as well as to clarify the final amount of damage caused to the state.
The Department of Investigation and Operational Intelligence of the SRC urges citizens, in particular remotely, those who carry out the activities of organizing cargo transportation in the domestic market of another country, the organizers of intermediary services, to refrain from the intention of conducting illegal business activities and at the same time warns that in case of organizing such activities with the intention of not paying taxes, they will be held liable to the full extent of the law. with strictness,” stated the SRC message.
