Senior Joint Secretary General of BNP, Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed said that former IGP Benazir Ahmed has been directly under the direction of many disappearances in the past.
Harshly criticizing Benazir Ahmed’s activities during his tenure, Rizvi said that many leaders and activists in the restoration of democracy movement were bled, maimed and died due to the violence and attacks of this person. Johnny, a relatively young activist student leader, was killed in the crossfire. Many such activists were killed in the crossfire. Many such disappearances were directly under the direction of this Benazir. The Prime Minister was very satisfied with such activities. That is why this Benjir became his (Prime Minister’s) favorite.
He said these things during the chief guest’s speech during the distribution of Eid materials among the needy on the initiative of Nationalist Social Organization (Jasas) on the ground floor of the party’s central office in Nayapaltan in the capital on Sunday (March 31) afternoon.
Rizvi said, Awami League has really looted people’s money in the name of Padma Bridge, Flyover, Metrorail. Supporters of Awami League, Jubo League, Chhatra League and Awami League have given protection to Sheikh Hasina’s government by persecuting opposition parties. But the news of their robbery is coming out of the heaven kingdom.
He said, you must remember when Mr. Benjir was the IG of Police and Police Commissioner of Dhaka, when the opposition movement started, he used to say to the police and RAB – Have you been given a bullet to keep in your pocket? In other words, Benazir would openly order police and RAB members to kill BNP leaders and activists, opposition party leaders and activists, democracy-loving people. Today the news of all his wrongdoings and illegally earned crores of rupees is coming out.
