On the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr, like every year, the Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC) will start selling tickets in advance to make the Eid journey of the people at home smooth and easy. From April 2, passengers can buy these seats from BRTC depots in different parts of the country.
This information is known in the notification signed by Shukdev Dhali, Deputy General Manager of BRTC on Sunday (March 31).
It is said in the notification, on the occasion of upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr, as in previous years, BRTC has organized Eid special service from April 5 to ensure easy and comfortable journey of people at home. On this occasion, advance seat sales will start from April 2 from the respective depots of BRTC. Eid service buses will run till April 14.
Arrangements have been made to sell seats in advance from Motijheel, Joarsahara, Kalyanpur, Gabtali, Mohammadpur, Mirpur, Jatrabari, Gazipur and Narayanganj Bus Depot (Chashara) of Dhaka.
Eid Special Service will be under the control of Motijheel Bus Depot in Rangpur, Bogra, Dinajpur, Thakurgaon, Gaibandha, Lalmonirhat; Kalyanpur Bus Depot will be under the control of Aricha, Paturia, Bhanga, Gopalganj, Barisal; Rangpur, Barisal, Khulna, Gopalganj, Paturia will be under the control of Gabtali Depot; Jorsahara Bus Depot will have control over Rangpur, Panchagarh, Thakurgaon, Dinajpur, Naogaon, Barisal, Bogra; Mirpur Bus Depot will have the control of Rangpur, Thakurgaon, Panchagarh, Mawa, Paturia, Sirajganj, Bogra, Gopalganj, Bhatiapara, Mymensingh route buses.
Mohammadpur Bus Depot will be under the control of Rangpur, Dinajpur, Gaibandha, Naogaon, Bogra, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Paturia, Barisal, Gopalganj; Mymensingh, Rangpur, Pabna, Bogra, Khulna, Thakurgaon and Kurigram will be under the control of Gazipur Bus Depot; Jatrabari Bus Depot will be under the control of Rangpur, Dinajpur, Thakurgaon, Kurigram, Bhanga, Faridpur, Barisal; Narayanganj Bus Depot will be under the control of Rangpur, Kushtia, Jamalpur, Naogaon, Gopalganj, Madaripur, Rajshahi, Bhanga, Netrakona; Sylhet, Sunamganj will be under the control of Comilla Bus Depot; Narsingdi Bus Depot will be under the control of Swarupkathi, Rangpur, Naogaon, Kishoreganj, Gopalganj, Bogra; Mymensingh, Rangpur, Lakshmipur route buses will be under the control of Sylhet Bus Depot.
Dhaka-Dinajpur will be under the control of Dinajpur Bus Depot; Sonapur Bus Depot will be under the control of Rangpur, Barisal, Mymensingh; Jessore, Rangpur, Barisal will be under the control of Bogra Bus Depot; Panchagarh, Rangpur, Lalmonirhat, Narayanganj, Pirojpur will be under the control of Rangpur Bus Depot; Khulna Bus Depot will be under the control of Rangpur, Kishoreganj, Dhaka; Gazipur, Kushtia, Dhaka will be under the control of Pabna Bus Depot; Gaibandha (Sunderganj), Thakurgaon, Lalmonirhat, Sherpur, Ghatail, Sylhet, Dhaka will be under the control of Mymensingh Bus Depot; Chittagong Bus Depot will be under the control of Rangpur, Barisal, Bhola; Dhaka, Chilmari, Patgati will be under the control of Tungipara Bus Depot; Barisal Bus Depot will be under the control of Dhaka, Rangpur, Kuakata route buses.
