Two athletes from Rodilio participated in competitions held during the weekend, having an excellent presence.
Specifically, Anastasis Novas won the first place in the “Giro di Neapoli” race in the criterium event, while Philippos Kresteinitis won the 3rd place in the “Circuit Gerakas #1” again in the criterium event.
The announcement issued by Rodelios states the following:
“Novas is excellent and… golden!
Anastasios Novas competed in the two-day inter-club race “Giro di Neapoli” on 30 and 31/03/2024, organized with great success by the Cycling Club “Driros” Neapoli Lasithiou.
On Saturday, in the endurance race, Novas had a flat tire in the first 5 kilometers and gave up, while on Sunday, in the criterium, they were separated from the main group together with the excellent athlete Nikos Georgousakis, and in the final sprint, Anastasis was the winner of the race.
Special congratulations to the athlete for his competitive spirit and to the team’s coaching staff for their excellent planning and preparation.

The match was organized by the Association of Friends of Sports Gerakas, on Sunday, March 31, 2024.
Our athlete participated in the Mini Big Boys category in a 15-turn circuit. Our little athlete was accompanied by Mr. Giorgos Kresteinitis Giorgos. Our club thanks him for his continuous support and help in our work. The effort continues. The best is ahead of us.”
