On this day, more than 10 offices nationwide will be open at night. Here we share the location of the offices, the services they will provide and some alternative options for carrying out procedures.

Renap offices will have night hours in April

He National Register of persons (Renap) is preparing for a special day on April 1, 2024 with the first DPI Night of April 2024.

After the Easter break, selected Renap offices will open their doors andn night time until 8:00 p.m., offering a unique opportunity for those who cannot attend during normal hours.

DPI Night is an initiative that seeks to facilitate access to Renap services for those who have commitments during the day and cannot attend during regular hours. During this time extension you will be able to carry out the following procedures:

Closing hours for Easter of the Renap offices:

From April 25 to 29, all registry offices will remain closed due to Holy Week.

They will return to work next Monday, April 1, serving from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in all offices nationwide. Likewise, the RENAP Headquarters, located in zone 7 of Guatemala City, will open from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., its normal business hours.

It is important to highlight that, throughout the year, the exclusive window of the office located at 11 Calle 5-59, zone 9 of Guatemala City, remains enabled for the registration of deaths, providing an essential service 24 hours a day.

In addition to in-person attention, Renap reminds citizens that they can use technology to carry out procedures from the comfort of their homes.

The RENAP SE application and the electronic portal eportal.renap.gob.gt are available throughout the year for different procedures, such as the issuance of registration certifications and the request for DPI replacement.
