Since yesterday, the project on making additions to the Tax Code has been posted in the e-draft system, this was announced by the Chairman of the SRC Rustam Badasyan today, referring to the law on taxing “infringers”.

For years, this provision has not worked in practice, there is a certain objective element in certain complaints, for example, regarding penalties, that is, a person was not used to declaring his tax income and was surprised when he received a notice and saw information about penalties. whom Badasyan mentioned.
According to him, the draft does not propose to eliminate the penalties, but not to tax the difference in Armenia for a certain period of time.
The chairman of the SRC said that the tax payers did not receive any notification from the enforcement service, only the SRC sent notices about the existence of tax liabilities.
To remind, those going to work abroad from Gegharkunik and Shirak marzes had protest actions, blocking roads. They were protesting against the regulation of the SRC, according to which the workers registered abroad must also pay taxes in Armenia.
