Every subscriber should know that in case of power outage for more than 4 hours in Yerevan, and for more than 8 hours in other areas of the republic (except for force majeure situations), the ENE pays a fine, Karen Harutyunyan, General Director of “Electrical Networks of Armenia” announced this at a meeting with journalists. .

“There is no need to contact the company for that, we automatically add up to 2,500 drams to each subscriber’s card as a payment for electricity. During the past years, we have paid about 600 million drams as a fine,” said Karen Harutyunyan.

The compensation, according to the director, appears in the subscriber’s personal card.

He mentioned that at the end of the implemented investment projects, the company will have significant improvements in the issue of power outages.

“The financial stability of our company is very high. We are ready to solve all the problems and challenges we face, we will continue cooperation with all kinds of financial and engineering structures,” said the general director of the HETC company.
