In 1945 since for the first time war in Europe is becoming real again, we are now entering the pre-war period; Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced.
In his first interview with international media, Tusk emphasized the seriousness of the situation and noted the need for vigilance and collective action in the face of growing threats.
“I don’t want to scare anyone, but war is no longer a concept of the past, any scenario is possible, and we must mentally prepare for the arrival of a new era, that is, the pre-war era. I am not exaggerating, this is becoming more noticeable day by day. Therefore, Europe needs to invest more in defense, but now the priority is to spend as much money as possible on acquiring equipment and ammunition for Ukraine, because we are in the most critical period since the end of the Second World War, and if Ukraine loses, No one will be able to feel safe in Europe.”
Donald Tusk recalled that when he was prime minister in 2007-2014, “except for the Baltic states, no one paid attention to his warnings about the Russian threat.”
