Milan showed a lot of personality against Lecce and won an unquestionable 3-0 victory. The teams faced each other this Saturday morning (06/04), at the San Siro, in the 31st round of the Italian Championship.

The goals of the game were scored by Pulisic, Giroud and Rafael Leão. Milan showed a lot of intensity at the San Siro and proved that they are still in the fight for the title. Lecce, on the other hand, did not perform well on the field and even had a player sent off at the end of the first half.

Milan, therefore, remains in second place in the championship, nine points behind Inter Milan, leader of the competition. Lecce, on the other hand, is in 13th place and is still fighting to reach the top of the table.

Massacre do Milan

Milan started with a lot of volume and scored after just six minutes of play. After a beautiful play by Chuckueze on the right side, Pulisic received the ball on the edge of the area and hit it into the corner. Lecce tried to react after the goal conceded. However, he was unable to find many spaces to finish.

Milan, on the other hand, remained aggressive after the goal and scored in the 20th minute. After a corner kick from Adli, Giroud broke away from his marking and headed hard into the corner, leaving Falcone with no chance.

Milan, who were already winning by two goals, also had reason to celebrate at the end of the first half. After all, in the 44th minute, Lecce forward Krstovic received a red card after tackling Chuckueze.

Second time

Milan took advantage of Krstovic’s expulsion and continued to put pressure on Lecce in the second half. Thus, in the first few minutes, Rafael Leão received a deep pass, shot quickly and finished with class into the goal.

Milan still had chances to expand, but ended up missing the mark. In the 22nd minute, Theo Hernandez almost scored a great free kick, but Falcone was well positioned to make a great save.

Lecce, despite being outnumbered, went on the attack in the second half. However, there was a lack of tranquility and effectiveness when finishing. Maignan, when required, demonstrated great security under the goalposts.
