The United Nations announced on Friday that more than 7,000 Palestinians have likely died under the rubble of buildings in the Gaza Strip since October 7.

Spokesman for the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Jeremy Lawrence, said at a press conference in Geneva that, “More than 7,000 Palestinians are believed to have died under the rubble of buildings in Gaza, in addition to the 33,000 people who have already been declared dead.”

Lawrence added: “As we approach six months of hostilities, we reflect with deep sadness and anger on the devastation and death toll in Gaza. More than 33,000 Palestinians have been killed, most of them women and children, and more than 75,000 have been injured, and it is believed that at least 7 thousand died under the rubble.”

The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced earlier today that the death toll from the Zionist military operations in the Strip had risen to 33,091 martyrs and 75,750 injured since last October 7.
