Head of the Prime Minister’s Office, Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the Organization and Conduct of the 8th Pan-Armenian Summer Games Arayik Harutyunyan, a working meeting was held today in the Shirak Marz Governor’s office: Shirak Marz Governor Mushegh Muradyan, Chairman of the Pan-Armenian Games World Committee Ishkhan Zakaryan, Gyumri community, leaders of power structures, the governor’s staff with the participation of those responsible.
Issues related to the organizational work of the 8th Pan-Armenian Summer Games were discussed. Araik Harutyunyan was interested in the already implemented and ongoing works, noting that everything should be done to hold the All-Armenian Games at a high level.
The governor of Shirak assured that effort and energy are spared for the solution of every problem.
During the consultation, reference was made to the tasks of each department, the interrelated work of all services, the need to implement the steps outlined by each structure according to the established schedule was emphasized.
Next, Araik Harutyunyan visited the city stadium of Gyumri, where the opening ceremony of the All-Armenian Games will take place. Tigran Virabyan, the producer of the opening ceremony of the Games, and Aramais Hayrapetyan, the director of the event, presented details related to the staging of the ceremony and the program of the event.
Currently, the street adjacent to the stadium is being paved. Construction works of 2,380 square meters of two-layer asphalt paving of the carriageway were carried out. 66 million 417 thousand drams were allocated for the implementation of the major repair works of the western side of the city stadium.
The draws for the football and futsal sub-group competitions of the 8th Pan-Armenian Summer Games were also held today, which were also attended by Arayik Harutyunyan, governor Mushegh Muradyan, and Ishkhan Zakaryan.
Based on the results of the lottery, the Football Federation of Armenia will draw up the game schedules and announce the competition venues in the coming days.
