The International Chess Federation (FIDE) has published the monthly ranking table of chess players.

The former leader of the Armenian national team Levon Aronian (USA) is in 15th place. Norwegian Magnus Carlsen is the leader, reports sport.news.am.

Among the 100 strongest, Armenia has 4 representatives. Gabriel Sargsyan (2692) is the 44th, Hayk M. Martirosyan (2685) is 53rd, Shant Sargsyan (2654) is 89th, Hrant Melkumyan (2650) is 97th.
