In its today’s session, the government allocated an additional 486 million drams within the framework of the agricultural loan interest rate subsidy program.
This decision is determined by the need to ensure the fulfillment of the obligations arising within the support programs implemented by the RA Ministry of Economy, as well as the need to ensure continuity.
It should be noted that within the framework of this program, the approved budget for this year is 7.98 billion drams, and the balance is 1.16 billion drams, which is not enough to pay off the existing obligations until the end of the year (excluding December).
The amount approved by the budget is not enough for the existing obligations, because in 2022 more than twice the loan portfolio was provided.
505.2 million drams are needed to pay off the liabilities for the month of November, the available balance is 19.2 million drams, that is, 486.0 million drams are additionally required.
