Like their co-religionists in the country and the world, the Muslim faithful of the administrative region of Boké, celebrated this Wednesday, April 10, 2024, the festival of Eid-El-Fitr, thus marking the end of a month of penance which is one of the five (5) pillars of the Muslim religion.
On the occasion, the administrative authorities in particular, Governor Mamadou Camara, Controller General of Police and Colonel Sény Silver Camara, prefect, in turn paid vibrant tribute to the economic operators and traders of Boké for having made life easier for citizens during the holy month of Ramadan.
They made this known during a courtesy visit that Muslim clerics and faithful paid this morning to local authorities.
According to the governor of Boké, “We will ask religious people and notables to continue to pray for Guinea, this nation that we have in common, to be emerging. »
Boké being a mining area par excellence, the governor of this region invited mining operators and the State to ensure that the populations impacted by mining are well treated, facilitate the employability of young people to enable us to process basic social problems.
In any case, Mamadou Camara is committed to investing more in improving and preserving the climate of peace which has always reigned in Kakandé.
For the prefect of Boké, the prayers and blessings of religious leaders have a vital meaning in the life of the Guinean, from the First Republic to the present day.
In Boké, the imams who led the day’s prayers at the different sites, placed particular emphasis on the supervision and education of children, while urging women to religious respect for their husbands for the stability of households.
For some, peace in families also has a beneficial effect on the stability of the country.
For others, the peace of a country is based on the union, harmony, understanding and solidarity of its children.
Note that after prayer sites, Muslim faithful and religious leaders massively went to the residences of the authorities to share African dishes and pray for the success of the Transition in Guinea.
