Khenifra: More than 17,700 households benefiting from the “Ramadan 1445” operation

This highly significant humanitarian initiative initiated by the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan will benefit 17,700 families in the province including 5,000 households located in the circles of Khénifra and Mrirt in urban areas, according to data from the provincial coordination of the EN in Khenifra.

In rural areas, this large-scale solidarity action will benefit 3,600 families from rural communities in the Khénifra circle, 5,200 households from the El Kebab circle and 3,900 from the Aguelmous circle.

The launch of the operation to deliver food kits to beneficiaries took place at the Abou El Kacem Zayani qualifying high school in the presence of authority agents from the Khénifra circle, representatives of the provincial coordination of national assistance in Khénifra and representatives of the authorities responsible for supervising the distribution and delivery of this aid.

This operation, which targets the most vulnerable social categories, notably widows, the elderly and people with disabilities, was launched at 12 distribution points throughout the province.

It is supervised at the level of the urban areas of the province by the National Mutual Aid, the Nadhir of Habous and Islamic Affairs, the provincial delegate of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, the head of the division of economic affairs and coordination within the prefecture of the province of Khénifra as well as representatives of FAR social works and the services of the Royal Gendarmerie.

His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God help him, launched, on Wednesday in the Yaâcoub El Mansour district in Rabat, the national operation “Ramadan 1445” on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan and benefiting one million households, or nearly 5 million people.

Mobilizing a budget of 347 million dirhams, the “Ramadan 1445” operation concerns the distribution of 34,550 tonnes of food products (flour, milk, rice, oil, sugar, tomato paste, vermicelli, lentils and tea).
