The new technical director of the Bulgarian Football Union, Kiril Kotev, and the new director for the development of children’s and youth football, Lachezar Dimov, will take part in the first FIFA workshop of its kind, the purpose of which will be the exchange of experience between different federations in connection with the construction and development of football talents.
The event will take place between April 17 and 20 in Ireland, and Bulgaria will be in the elite company of Germany, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ukraine, Scotland, Rep. Ireland, Northern Ireland and Rep. Korea. The invitation to the home headquarters is a serious recognition of the successfully implemented projects related to adolescents in the last two years.
The main theme of the unique workshop will be the preparation and implementation of a long-term strategy for the individual development of promising talents, as well as the creation of a special unit for high-level achievements in football.
Each of the participating federations will present their work in the direction of talent development and will have the opportunity to exchange valuable experience in this direction.
