Russia called for restraint from the governments of Iran e Israel after the attack of the first yesterday afternoon.
The above, in a communication released by the Russian Foreign Ministry in which it is indicated that:
“We call on all parties involved to exercise restraint. We hope that the States of the region will resolve existing problems through political and diplomatic means. “We believe it is important that constructive international actors contribute to this.”

In addition to supporting Tehran’s argument before the UN that the military operation was based on the framework of the right to self-defense, under Article 51 of the UN Charter, in response to attacks against Iran’s targets in the region.

Furthermore, the Russian Federation criticized the Security Council of the United Nations (UN) since:
