It is noted that farmers are protesting against the supply of Ukrainian agricultural products. The protest rally at the Medyk and Korchova checkpoints resumed at 08:00 local time (10:00 Baku time). Protesters plan to let one truck pass per hour. Cars and buses can pass freely.
“We are constantly waiting for negotiations with the government. The agreements signed in Yasenka with the authorities are not being implemented,” said one of the organizers of the protests, Roman Kondruv.
He added that farmers are waiting for the promised order on additional payments for grain.
Prior to this, the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic, Czeslaw Sekierski, in an interview with the Polish newspaper Dziennik Gazeta Prawna, said that the Ukrainian authorities were excessively promoting the interests of their big business and were threatening Poland with an embargo.
