The Israel Defense Forces have launched a series of retaliatory strikes against Iranian military targets, Arab media reported.
As of 6:30 a.m., at least nine strikes are known to have occurred in Iran, including in Isfahan province.
The American television channel ABC News reports that targets have been hit in both Syria and Iraq.
Iranian media report three explosions that occurred near a military base where several nuclear facilities are also located.
It is noted that Iran immediately responded to the incident by suspending flights over a number of cities after the alleged Israeli attack. Iranian authorities announced that the UAVs had been shot down.
The representative of the Iranian space agency, Hossein Dalirian, confirmed the successful downing of several drones using air defense. According to the Tasnim news agency, nuclear facilities in Isfahan province are completely safe.
